shiok shiok saturday!! for once, i feel like a tourist at home! :D
started off the day at browhaus, mandarin gallery to remove my fake lashes. it's a CHORE to have them sticking out from my eyes and so heavy that i couldn't even open my eyes wide. my eyes are small enough, with those lashes, people could barely see them and i could barely see anything too.. it's such a pain when i always banged the lashes into stan and poked myself in the eyes when i tried to give him a peck. WTH!
first stop: DFS at scotts
my shopping trip began from here, where i happily strolled into DFS with the $100 vouchers in my hands. thanks to my handsome neighbor who sacrificed his prize for me during our last company event. it's hard to get something decent with that $100 though, everything is at least $300 and beyond. when i decided to get a coach sunglass, suddenly i felt something calling for me...
yay, a new coach watch!! this is my best buy of the day! *grins*
next stop: the cathay
had lunch at wontan story before we made use of the $100 vouchers and 2 free movie tickets from the CNY promo that i won. nothing fascinating around there so got a working shirt for him at $99 and then we chilled for the next hour at ben&jerry's before catching 'the book of eli'.
last stop: suntec city
the great bargains at the IT show got us really excited and we had to join the rushing crowd! he signed the mio tv sports bundle while i got my new canon digi cam with lotsa freebies like memory cards, golla bag, atas-looking calculator and cam case!
my oh my, what a wonderful day!! :)
