BOO-HOO!
misfortune has befallen unto me on the second day of CNY - that's how 'lucky' i am in the new tiger year. the best part is, i can't even put the blame to anyone or anything because the root of mishap is still unknown... no falls, no knocks, no bite marks, no bruise until i saw my finger swell and started to feel tingling pain when i tried to curl or straighten it.
the doc at 24-hour clinic totally freaked me out when he told me it could be signs of STD! wtf.. he recommended me to visit the nearest a&e asap to check the cause of swelling. and so we did..
x-ray showed i have a crack in the bone. don't ask me how, i'm as puzzled as the doc. he couldn't diagnose the problem so got me another appt to see the hand doc in one week's time - that's freaking long! nothing i can do now except trying to avoid any more accidents from happening.
i can't help but feeling helpless and disabled, though it's just a finger (I KNOW!!!), but i can't do the basic stuff properly like bathing and eating.. thank god for him and mom to assist me in trivial things like buttoning my pants, tying my hair and preparing my food so i can eat properly with one hand! sigh, now i really admire those disabled people who can live so happily and embrace themselves positively to life, where i can't even stand another minute without my left hand. well, at least i still have my right hand to function, so stop whining!!!
pray for me and we shall see what will happen till the 23rd.
