the 2-day birthday affair was a quiet and heart-warming one, all thanks to him :)

he is ever so thoughtful to think of taking my parents out to celebrate with us so we had a alone tian-mi-mi date on sat evening. i never knew that there was a stanley street and yea, we dined at a little café – sweet indulgence – located at no.2 stanley street. we had a fusion grilled prawns with thai sweet sauce and a seafood soup for sharing. We underestimated the portion of the soup and each ordered a main. He had chicken cordon bleu while I had ribeye steak with some dark honey sauce.

my steak doesn’t look appetizing i must say but it taste really good! apart from the bitter salad, i cleared my meat! to end the meal with a real sweet indulgence, we got a complimentary must-have chocolate lava cake! totally a YUMYUM!!
chef says it's a die die must-have!!
he said we should catch a movie since we're early so we headed to cineleisure with a super bloated stomach! he suggested we should catch 'did you hear about the morgans', but by the time we got there, all movies were sold out and i told him we should leave the queue. sneaky him already pre-booked the tickets la! :D
the show was so-so, i preferred 'the proposal' though. nway, i was kinda tired but he brought me to mount faber for some romantic walk. the skies were clear and stars aplenty. we took the walk at henderson wave, the view was awesome!! we would very much like to attempt the day trail, next time!

we took a walk at orchard central roof garden and explored 313. though he said shopping on him but i din have time for trying the pieces due to his working schedule. went back and picked up the folks and headed to jumbo!
ehh, not too good a photographer. i'm blinded man!
all dishes were good!! thanks to him, we got to savor chilli crab, drunken prawns, scallop yam ring, stir-fried venison and seafood fried rice! YUM! though we were super bloated, we never forget the cake.
daddy just can't stop staring at the cake! it's making him drool!

i deliberately allowed him to do that one la!

sweet revenge!well, the family enjoyed my bday very much and of course, i appreciate all the wishes i got from family, friends, colleagues, ex-colleagues, ex-schoolmate etc! thank you thank you for making it such a wonderful experience. :D
oh! did i mention what he got for me? he hid a ds lite under my pillow!! i was estatic!!!! all i could remember was i yelled 'OMG' and flew into his arms in happy tears..
