we went to hdb earlier to sign the papers and paid 5% deposit. within that short 30mins, i think i signed 20 times on many many documents that i lost count of it..
do i really know what i'm signing? I DON'T!! the customer service officer just shoved documents by documents and said "sign here", "and here", "and here", "and here"...
i think this is the problem with us, singaporeans! do we trust/rely our govt so much that we just do what they say and sign whatever they want us to sign? or we're just simply ignorant? who actually bring along their lawyer to vet through the documents before signing? sigh anyway, there's nothing we can do even if we do not agree in any of the contracts, right?!
so as long as we guaiguai sign, they guaiguai build and we get the flat, who the hell cares la!
nothing we can do now but to save many many MANY moolahs before it's ready in 3 years time. till then!!
