the great bday surprise for him

it was a mind-boggling month, trying to contain my excitement yet making it a hush hush affair behind his back! i must especially thank a few people for sharing my excitement and keeping it a great secret for me! they are my mom, his mom, reece, humi, airen, kk and whoever that had heard this surprise la!
because he fell sick just days before our trip, it made my pre-packing a very tough job as my plan was to 'steal' his clothes when he's out working. but lucky me, i managed to bring as many things as possible.
the long awaited night before departure finally came. by that time, i was too excited by the fact of waking him up at 4am to reveal the whole surprise that i din catch a wink at all! when my alarm rang, i sprung up immediately, on the lights, jumped back into the bed, shaking him up and wanting him to open an envelope and read the content inside. when he saw my company envelope, he thought something major happened like i got retrenched or what, then he saw the itinerary and thought i was supposed to go on a last min business trip, until he saw his own name and let out a huge grin!
"quick quick get up, we have a plane to catch!" was all i could say that morning when he's still under the blanket, trying to piece things together. when he started to clear his head, he asked "so how bout my clothes? my shoes? my underwear? got jeans?" of course i had everything ready la! i even brought his shaver, his hairwax, watch everything la!
so off we go!!
