YES! we did it! we selected our flat today!!
i don't deny that this is a sudden decision and seriously, we both did not see it coming so soon. but after some crucial financial assessment and our ability to service the apartment (actually we took only 20mins to think it through!), we decided to take it!
i really fancy the apartment - especially the kitchen and master bedroom's toilet - and bei doesn't mind paying more to be on the higher floors to enjoy the breeze and view of bishan park and so we took a unit at 32nd floor ~ wooohooo!
the feeling is so funny.. we were calm and steady at the show room but as we signed the documents and talked about it later, the excitement slowly kicked in and we're really thrilled at the thought of building a home together. though the decision is made pretty hastily, but we both felt it came at the right time.
i seriously think it's kinda fated for us to get the flat. i was out for meetings and had some free time to spare in the afternoon so thought of dropping by just to gather more info and see see look look. and coincidentally, bei also took the afternoon off to run errands and had free time to come by. it's really difficult for bei to have the opportunity to leave work early and i think it has never happened before. so... tell me if it's fated? =)
anyway, here's a preview of my future home - hee, only exterior first la!!
