...elated with surprise!...

it was a simple dinner affair with family at craig road's siamese fins restaurant for our favorite dishes like claypot braised fins, baked king prawns vermicelli etc. we were too engrossed with the good food that only 1 pic is taken..
it was when the clock strikes 12 that the real surprise came up!
when i came out of the shower to find him missing, i smell something fishy. called him and he said he was at the carpark cos he forgot the coupon. i really thought it's for real until he called me to open the door, that's when i saw the bunch of balloons floating outside the parapet! i was really excited to go grab the balloons with his gift tied to it. the next thing i knew was him walking towards me from the other side of the corridor, with one hand holding the cake, the other carrying a stalk of tulip and trying to lit the candle and singing bday song!
gosh, i was really touched.. okay, being the emo me, tried to hold my tears back but when he finally came up whispering 'happy bday baby' in my ear and kissed me on the cheek, i just lost it. :)
