singapore beer festival 2008

this is a back-dated posting but i still have it dated as 4 oct (although i'm posting on 18!) cos it's my way of remembering the dates of events.was another very well-spent saturday filled with activities where i hung out with my parents, him and my babes. had dinner with airen and ah ben at thai express, followed by a few games of bowling. mom and dad gave us a surprise visit and joined us for a few games too! poor jia is working at the singapore beer festival held at fort canning, which we went to look for her after our games. actually not so much to visit her at work but because we knew there would be free booze and sausages so there we were! LOL! we are very typical singaporean one, anything FREE, we chiong! *wink*
one thing i must mention here is that my airen really attracts the angmohs! it's been several occasions that she got 'approached' by them and we had to 'rescue' her - this is how attractive my airen is. she was stucked at jia's booth with this african looking man, who was asking her stupid questions like where did she get that beer blahblah.. and after i finished 2 rounds visiting all the stations, she was still there!! of course i had to rescue her!
next, we got approached by an aussie who told her she got beautiful eyes and wanted to dance with her. he whispered in my ear, asking me to keep an eye on her till he gets back from his ciggie break. FAT HOPE! the moment he left, we stood up, ran and hide! hahaha!
it was a good night afterall! :)
