bangkok: just before the demonstration
27 August 2008 @ 11:16 PM
was dead tired after the event and i managed to upload my dinner + sightseeing pics abit. still have many pics to upload man.. slowly huh..

this is my thai gf who loves me so much that she's always very eager to bring me out for dinner/shopping. vivi thinks she's probably a lesbian. hmm, i have no comments.. but don't you worry airen, you're still #1 in my heart! buahahaha!

anyway, i was dead hungry by the time she picked me up at 8pm and we took another 1-hour drive to a faraway place outside of bangkok to have dinner. it was a restaurant that she went 2 years ago and somehow cannot remember where it was! we missed the place many times, did many u-turns and thus, another half hour wasted. the thai folks was amazed how we singaporeans drive like tortoises... the thais drive like at least 100-120km/hr on normal roads and 150-200km/hr on highways!

dinner was great at this place called 'the pool', which it really has a swimming pool right in the middle of the restaurant, al-fresco style. not bad indeed, especially when they have ktv rooms by the side. food was cheap-cheap! green curry, whole fried fish, huge pork knuckle and a salad plus some drinks, only cost less than SGD50 bucks!

i thought they will send me back to hotel after the long drive and dinner. but due to the bad english-thai communication, they brought me around sight-seeing a few places which i have no idea what are those. should be some national monuments and an ex-palace , which the 5th thai king used to live.

neh! the man on the horse is the 5th thai king la!

i think i'm beginning to sound very hokkien. ciao for now - will be back with more pics!!
