BOO @ saigon - day 3

the first two days in saigon was enjoyable, especially when there wasn't alot to do and we had time to walk around and try out some local food.. there isn't alot of stuff to buy here but i spent 100 bucks on this costume plus a white embroidery pants.. i was psycho-ed to try out this traditional vietnamese costume, and in the end.. i bought it!!! sigh.. seriously, i have no idea what occasion that i'll be wearing that so i guess i'll juz leave in my wardrobe and collect some dust first la..gained some weight when it's juz the 3rd day.. have been eating alot!! well, when one is happy, he/she tends to eat!! i am happy!! i'm so glad i'm outta singapore to have a good short break - to be away from everyone!! some quality time for myself to slack, to stone, to relax in a place where nobody noes me.. juz lena and me.. how nice.. free & easy!!
did i mention that it seems like there are more motorcycles than anything else in saigon?? very minimal traffic lights, everybody travels at 20km/hour, honking non-stop, 3-4pax on one motorbike etc.. it's MADNESS!! me and lena had so much "fun" crossing the roads!! *grins*
call myself fortunate to have an adventurous working-buddy like lena, whom we can go and roam around the streets to find some good local food.. we went to explore new eating places and found some really good ones! i shall have an entry dedicated to all the food we have here..
