reunion dinner 2006

it was cool that lpn had given us a half-day off on friday, but to those who had meetings or unfinished matters, i'm sorry you have to stay.. i counted myself lucky as my only URGENT matter was to get the v-camp invite letters out to schools, so i left office at bout 3pm..
i finally managed to get nigee to come shopping with me to buy his CNY clothes.. HA! yea, juz imagine.. he hasn't bought anything for himself for quite awhile, even when CNY is juz a day away.. met up with him at bugis and he got himself a top from P.O.A.. went ahead to buy some "sweet meat" (that's the term for bak gua used by my bosses) for both mommies!
was at nigee's granny place having lunch and then dinner at excelsior hotel.. don't really fancy the food there and the yu-sheng sux big time!!!! but still, we had a great time together.. =)

went back home to change and met up with the usual peeps to catch a movie at balestier.. well, people come and go.. we have an additional gal into our group.. not sure if it's gonna be a permanent one.. my frend, ting aka ray's gf.. izzit juz a fling or a relationship?? no one could tell.. i doubt the pair knows the answer too.. let's keep our fingers crossed.. =X
i'm soooo glad we watched memoirs of the geisha instead of jet lee's fearless.. well, at least we saw something different than juz punches and kicks, sweat and blood! beautiful kimonos, the different culture and life of a typical geisha all was captured in the movie.. though the movie was kinda slow, i gave the movie two thumbs up!!
