it's ah gu's 22nd (oppsie!! got his age wrong AGAIN!!!) 23rd birthday and few days before he leaves for perth to continue his studies, so it's party time!!! had dinner at al dente trattoria (70 boat quay, singapore 049859) with ah-pui, law-bah, ah-mond, nigee and bday boy.. i ordered penne with scallops which was yummilicious initially but turned kinda yucky when the cream sauce started to set in my stomach.. i felt like puking! the boys had steak on hot stone which was an innovative idea, not bad really.. but i don't think the food was substantial since the portion was rather small..
while waiting for the cake, fireworks came and the view was breath-taking! it came right before our eyes, as though it's meant for ah gu for his birthday.. =)
though food was good, the dinner was full of waitings.. you have to wait for at least 5-10 mins for someone to bring you cheese powder, wasabi sauce, fetch the bill, return the change (short-changed us somemore!!!!) etc! the whole dining experience was HORRENDOUS! can you imagine the staff brought you a resignation letter when you asked for a FEEDBACK FORM?!??!!? i seriously dunno wat's wrong with that restaurant and their staff..

MOS was not as crowded as we expected and we managed to grab a good seat at the second floor of the main arena.. wrong move! we should have gotten our ass-es at smoove where they play cool r&b music!! damn!
we all had a fair share of tequila shots except that ah gu had an extra dosage of flaming lamborghini!! buahaha! as usual, he got knocked out after some groovy dancing and puked all over in the gents, i heard! haha.. he continued to puke into the mixer's bottle after resting like half an hour! oh well, it's part of our agenda to get him drunk so we're glad that he puked at least 5 times for the entire night! *grins*
